Born and bred in Dunedin I now call Wellington my home. With partner Monica and our two kids we fill our weekends with bike rides, play dates and walking the dog.
A few side hobbies that I enjoy, a wee bit of coding. I own a Raspberry Pi that I experiment with, at the moment I am playing with making an RC car internet controllable. I have also turned into a wee foodie turning to the art of smoking on my Weber * see posing picture.
I did a stint in Auckland, 8 years while I was at TV3. There I enjoyed freediving every other weekend and going to all the accessible beaches in and around the city. Auckland was good fun.
Now I’m enjoying the freelance world based in Wellington. I get to have a bit of time with my son after school each day for some bike riding, reading or a wee bit of retro gaming ( I made a small retro pie ).
I love the work that I do and its been a real privilege being part of the film and tv industry in this period of change. I look forward to how it will look in 5 years’ time and how I will have to change with it ( and play with new toys ).
